We presented our diary for the next sewing year and it can be found on the blog.  Come along and see us if you wish, visitors are always welcome.

Summer Trip

Tea was served at Kilborra Quilt Shoppe
Yes, it's that time of year already.  We are going on our annual summer day out on Saturday 12th June, 2010.  This year we are taking a trip to New Ross, Co Wexford to see the Ros Tapestry. http://www.rostapestry.com/index.htm After the visit their we will be stopping for a bite of lunch before heading off to Kilborra Quilts, in Co Wexford.  After having a browse through lots of lovely fabrics we head to Leighlinsbridge, Co Carlow to have a slap up dinner in The Lord Bagenal before setting off for home.  http://www.lordbagenal.com/

Our branch had it's last meeting before the summer break last Thursday and welcomed about 30 of our members.  The new committee are already getting together a new diary to start in September.  If you are interested in joining our branch in September then please feel free to come along, a warm welcome will be waiting for you.

A good number of us are also heading off to the Festival of Quilts, NEC, Birmingham, UK in August where we will get an extra special fix of all things Patchwork and Quilting.

Hope to see you soon
